CrossFit West Knox is a facility dedicated to Elite Fitness. We teach functional exercise. We utilize CrossFit as our primary training method. Our focus is to optimize physical competence in each of the 10 recognized fitness domains :
Cardio-Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Accuracy, Agility, and Balance.
The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. The atmosphere is one of support and camaraderie to anyone willing to put in the work.
We wish to provide the world's most effective health and fitness training to the Knoxville area. We endeavor to belong to a community that is healthy, strong, and capable , with participants that have the courage to live outside the belief that health, fitness and vitality must decline with age.
At our gym we take a different approach to CrossFit training. Initially we will meet and do a fitness assessment along with an assessment of your goals. We will see how your movement is and what your weaknesses are. From there we will write a program that is individualized to you. You will train on your own with periodic technique sessions with myself. These sessions will focus on the basics and correcting your body positions. You can train where and when you want. The programming will work around your schedule. We are looking to help facilitate your journey through CrossFit. Your current fitness level is of no concern, you will be treated as an athlete. The only thing we ask is that you come ready to train, with a positive/ open-minded attitude, and ready to make the necessary commitments to improving your health and fitness.
